Pretty cool, man. Not really my taste but, the mastering and such is really great. Very energetic and airy. Makes you not want to be sitting down. :D

GrayZ responds:

thanks alot :D

Excellent man. Had some nice variety and some beautiful melodies. Like when the Amens come in. I like the backwards keys as well. Good atmosphere - I can see that ghostly, ice-capped mountain. :)

RetromanOMG responds:

Thanks for the review, AR. I actually got the idea for reverse keys from listening to your music. It's also good to know that my music took you somewhere, as yours does for me.

Do it

Do it. Do it. Do it.

All of it.

Make it RAEL.

I'm really not a fan of EA. I do not like their business practices. I think they're bunk and its basically like listening to Justin Beiber. Fucks. I remember reading about this in a game informer a few months ago. I was really shocked by it. They're a huge company trying to milk more money out of whatever they can. It's like a weird form of DRM for console games now.. blegh. If you want to curtail used game sales...make better games.

AeraDynamic responds:

Tru, I dont see is as being the worst thing ever did to gaming anymore. Its not THAT bad once you think about it. They got servers to maintain and if you buy your games used the publisher wont get anything of your money so its ok I guess. And you can still buy used games if you dont play online or its a singleplayer only game so not too bad for me now.

Rad. This has a really great feel to it. I can't say I can compare this to anything. Its got a really fresh vibe to it, man. I really dig and wish it was longer. Excellence.

AeraDynamic responds:

Holy crap you found your way to my songs :D I am glad you like what I do, there is plenty of it to come. Once I get better studio hardware I get it done I promise. I love making music but lately I dont feel like making anything serious. I found out some of my mixdowns are horrible, so I'm saving up for good studio monitors and a new audio interface. If you like my work, Ill send you a pm once I uploaded anything new :)

Nice

Hey man, this is pretty good. The melody is really great and has a lot of intensity to it. The ghostly pads in the background are a very nice touch as well. It adds a bit more depth to the main keys. Its very biting, as I would imagine a bright light would be after coming out of darkness. Good tune.

EmpyrealVis responds:

Whoa . I am honored to have been reviewed by an individual such as you =D ! Thanks for listening, and thankyou sincerely for such a complimenting review . Cheers ~

Nice man

Didn't expect them drums to come in when they did. Very awesome. Beginning reminds me of a final fantasy-esque engaging piano structure. If it wsn't such a stock sounding piano and was actually performed acoustically - It'd be huge.

You did a great job on the amen sequencing. The way it flutters in and out, to and fro. I would say though, maximize the long glitches on the snare or kick when you increase the volume up / pitch up or down / whatever and put a pan by chance? I liked the panning after the first segment of drums. The vibe was just right.

Great tune man. I'll have to check out some more.

RetromanOMG responds:

Thank you for your kind words, man. As you know, I am a huge fan of yours and it means a lot to get this kind of feedback.

Awesome

Its really great to see another musician making music like this, man. Really is. If you get a chance you should check out some of my beats. I've got a similar vibe that I think you'd like. I really like this.

Your atmosphere is great. The melodies are fantastic. The programing is great. The keys I'm totally vibing on. Keep it up. Totally dig.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Had a look around, you have a happier overall tone then I do. With your drums be sure to remove the cut self on sliced beats, add subtle reverb, and sustain your note so the sounds don't play semi's. Layer in a seperate hihat track, and typically you can layer a kick and snare to match that of the sliced channel to help fill it out in terms of quality.

You use pads well.

Hm..

I like the sound of the track - the quality as well. The drums are so repetitive though. You need some variation in that main drum loop you use. I dug the panning with the drums towards the end. You've got some rad basslines going here, too. Loops pretty cool, too. Very upbeat, jazzy, hip-hopish. Sort of reminds me of this particular track from Samurai Champloo - if I was to liken it to anything. Can't recall the name of the specific track, however.

good stuff.

SlackerProductions responds:

I didn't find it too repetitve, but then again that's me. Thanks for the feedback and PM me if you get the name of that track.

Mutant from the primordial ooze, busking on the streets of the internet. I will be forgotten by time. A temporary fascination. Use me up. I am yours. Help me feel useful...
