"You're tearing me apart, Breakcore11!"

I don't really care to bring age into this, but I feel I gotta. Mostly because I can't say I've come across someone as young as you making really sick beats. The worlds big though, so who knows. I wish I started making tunes earlier, man! I wish I found the genres and sounds I liked as early as you have. You keep going and you're gonna become powerful, muh boy! You give me faith in humanity, haha. You've so much time ahead of you, use it wisely! Keep making and never stop, don't let anyone or anything stop you! Gotta let me know who some of your fav musicians/inspo's are! Would like to swap some tunes. Thanks for your bio shoutout!

Song is tight and mix is clean; love the guitar loop. Doesn't sound too rushed to me. Then again, I feel like I do that same thing all the time. . .

Big inspiration is probably alot of artist. But the biggest inspiration for me to start making music is Lauren Bousfield (dunno know if I spelled it right) and Neros Day at Disneyland. I hear the amen break on the song quite amazing. and the song are quite loud at some points. But other than that. Quite beautiful.

Beautiful piece. Love the downtempo grit, guitar flourishes. Gonna be chilling out to this track for a while -- thanks for the music.

PompYin responds:

Cheers for the kind words Lapse, seriously though 'I can't get Dressed Today' was great. Tried getting some vocal textures similar to this in one of the tracks I'm working on.

Made me realise that I lacked singing talent but you know what, that's what effects are for anyway haha.

Thanks again.

This is going to be on loop for a bit (actually loops very nicely too). Good washy ambient textures, subtle bass blooms and a solid steady beat. . The super subtle plucking towards the end. I'd love to riff over this.

BOULLIE responds:

I'd love it if you riffed over this

great tune. Always jealous of your kicks. This tracks got a great vibe. You should've been on the Samurai Champloo sountrack!

BOULLIE responds:

man that would've been too cool...

A bunch of NG cats should get together and tribute the fuck out of those OSTs

Thanks for coming through Lapse

Frontpage! :D

Beautiful track, Retro. Love the part @ 1:37, when the hats come in.

RetromanOMG responds:

Thanks! I've never had a song make the front page before; I'm pretty stoked about it!

The mix is great, man. The crispy shakers, the low-fi textures and that bloated muffled kick. Dig the subtle stutter at :45. Just enough changes and ebbs and flows to stay engaging but not entrusive. You've got a way with the subtle that I wish I had... prefect ending to lead the lofty and weary out. Another addition for my chill out tunes.

Keep bringing it.

BOULLIE responds:

Aye aye. Thanks for coming.

Damn, man. Super chill. Could spin this in my ears for hours. Also, the sort of triple kick rhythm at 16 seconds is a favorite structure of mine.

BOULLIE responds:

Much respect man.

Dig.

shieldurhope responds:

dig-ital audio workstation?

Lol. thanks man
