Fantastic man

The production on this track has got to be the best i've heard by you so far. There's a bunch of fantastic rhythms you float through. As always the melody is beautiful. Such an emotional track. At least, i feel it. The very first glitches in the song were just fantastic and thats one thing i did want more of : P

As always - Beautiful job - love the changes - just great. You really add variation from the other tracks. Top notch glitches too.

Thanks man I really appreciate it. I need some new aloysious rexford. BRING IT OUT MAN!

Absolutely great.

Fantastic track. Real smooth. Heh, i have a song i made (not posted) that i titled "Simply, I miss you". : P

Nice (of course)

God damn that kick is hot as shit : P
Love that pressure behind it.

Ah maaaaan..

Nice man. That really sucks. I've had that happen to me on a few occasions. Its the worst. Generally you can never go back and try to rework it. Eventually the melodies become reworked over time and you use it for something else (hopefully).

a 10 for your loss : P

not out of pity XD

nubbinownz responds:

baahh yeah it hurts man lol thank you for the 10 ! ;D

Not so bad

I like it. Its a bit repetitive, but the song is only 2 and a half minutes so its not too horrible. I think you could've thrown in just a bit more variation with the percussive elements. At 1:32 the song gets a bit more intense with the glitchy bits. I think this song would've been really cool if you made it climax with some intense breakcore glitches and have it end on that note, just a nice slow build. I like ambient music like that. That just me though. I like the ambient pads in the background and would've liked to hear some more sounds swirling around in this composition. This has potential to be really really good. Could make it a bit longer and throw in some more variation and you've got yourself something!

Cool stuff : D

snayk responds:

I see what you're saying. I feel a little bit like I may have taken the easy route at some point with this song.

Thanks for the review!

Nice production on this. Very cool. I really like the beat. The hats have this odd faltering urgency to them. Just a pleasant song with a good amount of change for its ambient nature and just the right length. 2:14 to 2:25 was just fantastic.

good stuff.

Rawrthaas responds:

Heya, thanks. Appreciate the 10 :D

Hey-oh

The guitars and all that were great. I dont know about the vocals. Should work on mastering them a different way or adding a different effect to them? They seem to stand out in a weird way.

Either or, love the guitars and the samples. : D

TwilightNecrosis responds:

Hey there!
Yeah, I've gotten better at effecting vocals since I recorded this.
This was just to give you an example of my guitar work.
What samples, by the way?

downloads, votes, listens..

And no ones reviewed! A CRIME! Less they're all your votes : (
So i felt inclined to review. Its not so bad. I really like the more downtempo (yet upbeat) DnB. the song. I liked when the main arp cut out and you could hear the xylophones. That was preeettyyy. My only qualm with it is, i'd make up your own arps! : O The drums werent so bad, they changed up here and there. The song change at the right moment (The xylophones bit). the bass was nice, had a good groove. With some nice filters that the song cuts in and out of, that'd be nice.

Hm..

Its OK. I mean. You did some alright things here and there. However, the drums, in all honesty, don't do much at all. Its really the same hits over and over, repeating for about 3 minutes. Minus the ending area where they just sounded like the break was cut sliced in shorter hits, the beginning was also slightly different...

. I did like how you used the big bass drum hit that was in the song as a part of the beat. I also liked how you filtered out the Fortuna sample in parts, that was nice. However, the song, even with the vocals was a far to monotonous. I read a comment down, you said this is old. So I'd really like to see you retry this and make some more interesting drum patterns, you'd really have yourself something worth listening to. Also, if you were to do it next time you should use the very beginning segment from the song, the nice slow introduction to the intense vocals. That'd be nice. Then add different effects to that.

I know..i know

Its really crap of me to not really 'review' your music.

but saying its "awesome" is my way of reviewing. I know you know what your doing. So there's no need to tell you anything. It all sounds nice.

nubbinownz responds:

same to you man, your production skills are lightyears foward.
