Pretty great! The song's very rich sounding and it progresses enough to keep me entertained despite it's length. The video has some well synched momentsand unique imagery.
Perhaps you overused the effects a little. I'd probably prefer something that experimented more with a smaller pallete. The sort of TV distortion at 2:03 for example i felt was incongruous and cliched.
I don't grasp the significance of the final shot.
A fun experience regardless!

Thanks for the words, man. Much appreciated. I've had this idea in my head for some time. So it's nice to get it out.

I can see how the effects may be a bit overwhelming. My lack of skill with video editing; hope that it wouldn't get boring; and unfamiliarity with the effects, caused me to just hit the video with full experimentation. I was just trying to wrap my head around the software and what I could do with it. So I was messing with a lot of the effects and playing with the tools. I knew the tv distortions were a bit cliched (I sadly, couldn't help myself, haha). I liken it to the use of Photoshops leaves brush. Ha. When I begin my next piece It will be a bit more focused and a little less chaotic. I was thinking about making short music pieces just to practice.

The final shot is a clip of Apollo acceding from the moons surface. Just a piece of of "farwell" imagery to end the song on.

Thanks again for the critique.

That was quite the audiovisual experience. I definitely like how well the mystique of the dancing meshed with your song, and many of the effects applied made the glitches in your song more pronounced for me.

I will agree with PIED3, though, that some effects didn't do much for the song. It's more of a case of slight excess than a flat-out creative misfire, though. Your music is very generous with the ways it alters and distorts itself, and I felt that the amount of editing your applied to the video was a bit incongruous with that.

All told, though, I really enjoyed this. For a while now I'd been wondering when you'd start having videos for your songs, and this is a great first step, I feel.

Thanks man. I have plans for some future videos. I'll play down the effects a lot more. I hope the excess didn't detract from the music itself. I should've let the audio do more of the hard work rather than the visual. I'll keep yours and PIED3's thoughts in mind for my next foray.

Wow, that was incredible. I definitely know some people who might like that!

Thanks man!

I want a download of Jamais Vu really badly....

I could hook you up with one. I haven't made it available like that. I could send it to your email or something?
